“Himalayas calling- save me and save your self “

If Himalayas were not there, then india would not have been so beautiful and Himalayan states also would not have been so blessed and panoramic. But we had created entirely critical conditions in the region. Therefore The Himalayas are calling- save me( himalaya) and save your self (human) because today such a situation has been created by humans that the Himalayas have to make such a call. More blind, hazy development and chaotic tourism have created alarming and devastating situations and more anthropogenetic problems . Recent disaster in the himalayan states of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu &Kashmir are result because of which we had become economically weak and environmentally very poor. Himalaya Bachao Diwas is itself becoming self your self from the natural incidences in the Himalayas. Which is a matter of great concern. The protection of the Himalayas is possible only through the collective efforts of the public and the government. We do not need an action plan but a plan in action. We all will have to work very hard with moral responsibility.The main suggestions and actions for saving the Himalayas are:
to make the public aware of the warnings about which they are not aware.
Full participation and responsibility of the public should be determined.
The size and location of the village should be determined according to geographical and geological conditions. Shifting of the village should be done on the basis of planning.
The government should not limit itself to making plans and distributing reliefand funds to the affected people , but should implement the plans with full vigor without any political objective and viewpoint.
There is a dire need of a social awareness and movement for saving the Himalayas, which should make the residents here fully aware.
There is a need to create a sense of training and awareness among the public and the concerned field official’s.
It is necessary to exchange data and share experiences with other states on local and regional basis.
There is a need for a ban on chaotic tourism.,
There is a need for controlled tourism and tourists in control. Fair rules are necessary to prevent tourists from spreading environmental pollution.
Along with tourist guides, there should also be a provision of tourist police.

To control pollution that is generated by tourists needs 4 R- reduse,reuse,recycle and upcycle.
Glacial and geomorphological studies are necessary.
There is a dire need to create a protective zone in the high Himalayan region.
Development plans should be made according to the carrying capacity of the region and controlled development should be done by implementing them accordingly
. Human have increased their average lifespan but the environmental and geographical age of the Himalayas has reduced a lot which is a danger for the future. We need 4a information integration, integration, initiation and application (implementation.)Only then can the Himalayas, the Himalayan people and all those associated with the Himalayas be saved easily.
